Fasting Cases
Two amazing cases of fasting that illustrates it’s healing potential.
These are two cases Dr. Carp supervised at the Hopewood Health Centre in Australia:
A fifty year old male fasted for ten days on water. His main health challenges were diffuse joint pain and fatigue. He was a farmer for thirty years and performed annual weed spraying with pesticides and herbicides in an open tractor without breathing apparatus. Around the fourth day of his fast, he began to exude an odor of pesticide, and smelled like a can of Raid insect spray.
A urine sample was analyzed by a lab using gas chromatography to check for any residue of organic halogen-based compounds in the urine. None were detected over a broad spectrum test. This illustrates the bodies amazing ability to breakdown a wide array of toxins, even DDT, as it goes though the fasting process. The man completed his fast and the insecticide odor disappeared, along with his joint pain and fatigue. He resumed normal work activities in much better health one week after the fast. And he started using spray protection.A 65 year old, 125 lb. female underwent a ten day water fast. She was enduring a staph infection. This was brought on as a result of a jelly fish sting she incurred while walking on an ocean beach. She had undergone three months of antibiotic therapy to no benefit. As a result of the infection, she had developed a quarter sized lesion about 1 cm. deep on her right pelvis, that was oozing pus. One could look into the hole and see her gluteal muscle. She underwent the fast in quarantine with total bed rest. At the end of the ten days, blood tests revealed no infection, and the lesion had totally closed over and healed.
